It has been lovely teaching you all. You have really impressed us with your hard work this year. Thank you to parents/carers for your ongoing support. Have a lovely summer everyone!
It was a great event! Our class stall was fantastic. It was Holly’s super idea to have ‘Pin the head on Bottom from A Midsummer Night’s dream’ rather than a tail on a donkey! Well done to Chloe F and Annabelle who were super helpers.
We had a fantastic morning at Paddox sharing our French learning. We performed songs and played games like Simon Says in French. We also learned a new song altogether. We were able to enjoy a croissant too! It was a great morning however we were very sad to say goodbye to Marine! We will miss our French lessons with her and thank her for teaching us.
We also received our own European passport as part of the day!
We have had a great week back starting our new topic. We have learned some key information about William Shakespeare and we have started ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Art has been fantastic. We created characters from the play and we created portraits of William Shakespare which are based on the Cobbe portrait. However we have split them in four parts and we are experimenting with putting them together in different ways!
Today we learned all about the process of digestion and the body parts associated with digestion. Using orange juice, water, a banana, plastic and paper cups, cream crackers and a pair of tights we recreated this process!
We put orange juice (acid in the stomach), water (saliva), cream crackers and bananas in a food bag (stomach) and mashed it all up like in the stomach!
It it was messy but great fun!
